Sinopsis:
La serie segu'ia las vidas de las camareras de un restaurante de lujo situado en la parte superior del hotel "Buenaventura", en Los Angeles. A la cabeza del equipo estaba Nancy beebe, la supervisora, que aunque en ocasiones parec'ia confraternizar con las empleadas, casi siempre estaba dando ordenes. Completaba el grupo Sonny Mann, un pianista gracioso y descarado que dec'ia comentarios groseros a las chicas y por ello era insultado.
Nota: la serie originalmente solo tuvo dos temporadas, en 1980 y 1981, emiti'endose solo 39 episodios, y hubo de cancelarse por baja audiencia, pero casualmente la serie fue a mejor desde ah'i, y las reposiciones hicieron grandes n'umeros, as'i que en 1985 se comienza a rodar mas episodios, en total 4 temporadas mas.
